A few months ago, Yahoo! changed the destination folder of emails that users mark as spam from the Trash folder to the Spam folder. While this may seem logical, the problem with this approach is that users now have to confront the same spam twice – once when it winds up in their Inbox and again when they check their Spam folder!
When I mark an email as spam, then I want to be done with it (i.e., move it to the Trash) – not simply add it to the Spam folder with all the other spam emails that the Yahoo! filters have grabbed. 😐
Guess until Yahoo! Mail changes this back, I’ll just use the Delete button instead.
