The world seems very small today. Maybe it’s all those games of Risk I played as a twelve year old influencing the perspective of the world as just a small piece of card board, the countries easily identified by color and shape.
When I think of the very real possibility of all out intercontinental ballistic world war, its not hard for me see the world miniaturized like the Risk board.
