One of the common weaknesses of otherwise excellent N95 masks are the straps. On some masks they break with very little force. Such is the case with the Honeywell DC365N95HC, so I'm experimenting with stapling the straps for added support. So far so good!
UPDATE 2/21
For the 3M 8210 N95 masks with the rubber band straps, I'm using Scotch tape to first weld the break, then stapling the weld. On these masks, unlike the Honeywell, the bond on the masks is very strong, it's the bands that eventually break from a weak spot inline that's the problem. Considering buying braided nylon strap like what 3M uses on the 8210 Plus, but will try tape/staple for now.
