So you want the new iPhone 3G S?

Me too. Unfortunately, my contract with AT&T doesn’t make me eligible for the subsidized price until February 2010. So to find out more info, I went over to the AT&T store and they told me that in the case of the first generation iPhone, they were willing to upgrade/subsidize to the 3G even though the contracts weren’t up because the first generation iPhone was unlocklable.

Looks like if I want the 32G iPhone 3G S before February, I’ll have to buy it outright for $763 ($699 + 9.25% sales tax).
Yeah right. 😐
