No surprise really to anybody that knows the Star Wars background and it’s deliberate associations to WWII characters and themes, but Rogue One is probably the most blatant of any of the recent films. Let’s just take D-Day, Hiroshima, dog fights, battleships, storm troopers and the like, through them in CGI and voila, Rogue One.
