On September 16, 2013, I made the following post entitled iPhone 5S? Not sure I want it.
I have the iPhone 4S and it works great. When the iPhone 5 came out, my friends who bought it raved about how much faster and better it was than the 4S, but I held off. Now with the announcement of the 5S (a phone which I had been looking forward upgrading to!), I’m once again not so sure it’s worth it, here’s the two main reasons why:
1. No 128GB model
2. No bigger screen
Now one year later, I have an iPhone 6 Plus and my reasons for holding off on the 5S above have been resoundingly met. Couldn't be happier. One thing I hadn't thought of at the time was that a bigger size of iPhone, meant a bigger battery. This in itself was a big selling point over the regular iPhone 6 and so far, it's been more juice than I need. Unlike with the iPhone 4 and 4S where getting two external battery packs was what I ended up having to do in order not to run out.
Kudos to Apple for the iPhone 6 Plus! It's awesome.
