InControl – revived and going open source??

I just found a site where it *looks* like someone(s) is actually going to try and make InControl available again — this time OpenSource — WOW!!

“INCONTROL will be an outliner with columns. It will allow the creation of hierarchical “to do” lists with user-defined columns for things like context, category, priority, etc.”

http://www.programs4all.net/programs/INCONTROL-An-Outliner-with-Columns.htm

I don’t know who’s behind this, but obviously I’m all for it as there still isn’t anything as good as that old OS9 app! Google’s much anticipated Jotliner unfortunately did not launch with the recent release of Google Sites and to be honest, I’m not particularly optimistic that it ever will. 🙁
For ease of use and simple brainstorming, neither OmniOutliner or CircusPonies Notebook are where InControl was — even after all these years!

One thing that is different with this new InControl development, is that it will be for Windows OS and not the Mac or Linux (at least not initially):
“All 32-bit MS Windows (95/98/NT/2000/XP)”

If anybody knows anything more about this project and what can be done to help get it realized, please let me know. Thanks!

-Bob
