I saw 'Horton Hears A Who!' earlier today and liked the film OK. The animation on the other hand, was the best my eyes have seen. In particular, the water stood out as being so 'real' looking that I'd say the animators pretty much have that effect done. And not to be too much of a spoiler, but the few scenes where there was old time animation thrown in (like the kind I grew up seeing back in the 60s!) really brought home just how much different kids these days have it when it comes to cartoons. The nearly photographic realism of the characters and their surroundings in 'Horton Hears A Who!' make for some serious eye candy and is quite a mind blower. If for no other reason than the animation, I highly recommend catching this flick while it's on the big screen - it's well worth it.
