Today I received an email from BareBones.com entitled “Before TextWrangler rides off into the sunset…”
Apparently, they’ve decided to shut TextWrangler down. That’s a drag for thousands of people who used TextWrangler on a daily basis. The alternative from BareBones (of course…) is to upgrade to BBEdit for $49.99.
Actually, you can keep using BBEdit for free. After the evaluation period it will reduce to a feature set that is equivalent to TextWrangler.
