Felix Skowronek’s wood flutes for sale!

Just found out that Felix Skowronek's three Flutemakers Guild wood flutes are being sold! I have fond memories of visiting Felix in Seattle and seeing those flutes first hand. They are some of the best wooden flutes ever made by FMG. The rarest is #194 which is made of cocuswood.

Of the 646 FMG flutes and piccolos in existence, the firm only made six cocuswood flutes. And of those, only two are B foot and only one is offset G, #194. Originally sold with an extra gold headjoint that Felix later got rid of. Asking price is $13,000 which to be honest, seems low. I'd have ball parked that flute closer to $20 or $30k. Somebody is going to get a very good deal indeed!
