American companies that moved all or part of their operations to China because of lower labor costs have consequences. For example, something like a VitaMix blender which sells for $400, you can find a Chinese knockoff nearly identical on Amazon for less than a $100. I did and the blender works fine.
It’s no surprise to me that the Chinese know exactly how American products are made if they are the ones actually making them. Duh. Fast forward to AI, robotics, drones etc. and the rise of DeepSeek is also no surprise. Expose proprietary technologies in pursuit of cheap labor and counterfeit products are sure to follow.
