Public facing = scale
The ability to scale is of paramount importance. At some point a successful business will confront the issue of scaling. As long as something can be done manually and efficiently, the need for full automation isn’t warranted. However, once it becomes clear that too many resources are being spent on manually, switching to automation is the logical next step.
