Yesterday I saw a shoe in which the first 17 hands were Player. This long streak was broken up three times by ties, but other than that, it was 100% Player. Not a Banker win until hand 18! This is a good example of the difference between computer modeling and real world baccarat. The casinos simply cannot shuffle the cards as well as the computer. That’s why you’ll occasionally see a shoe like this at the casino but never in simulation. Not surprisingly, several people at the table kept betting Banker while the Player streak was happening and lost a lot of money in the process.
