One of the things Henry Ford did not do, was change. Once the most popular car in the world, the Model T eventually would run it's course. Newer cars from other manufacturers quickly began to take away market share despite pleas from Ford car dealers and from within the Ford company to produce other cars besides the Model T. Henry wouldn't budge, convinced he knew best what Americans needed. I see the same pattern with Apple and the iPhone X. A phone that Tim Cook thinks "we" want and need. I hope it bombs, really.
